This is pretty big news. Like the kind you get every ten years or so… When the new Nikon NX-D software got out of beta, I was skeptical, to say the least. But the release of Capture NX-D could not be more opportune. Although I have only reviewed Nikon NX-D briefly, the program is awesome, sofar!

Nikon recently released the Nikon View NX 2.1.1 update, which – apart of a series of bug fixes – adds some new features plus support for its new Coolpix cameras. Adobe released the ACR & DNG converter 6.4 and Lightroom 3.4 updates, and Apple updated Digital Camera RAW for OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Aperture and iPhoto to version 3.6. more »

There is a rising number of users who report that - at least - Nikon View NX does not work on Apple's latest OS, "Snow Leopard". Nikon are currently addressing this issue and testing the Mac versions of their software for release in the near future. More info here. more »
