Fill-in flash is useful in many situations, even if we only have the built-in flash at hand. Even though an external flash offers a wide range of additional options and is recommended to achieve more professional results, the built-in flash is useful in many situations and can be slightly more versatile if we either make or buy an accessory called flash diffuser, which has the objective to “soften” the light.

Yup, I’ve been off of the radar for quite a while. We spent most of September in Amsterdam, to meet my first grandchild, hook up with the family and do tourist–stuff. I also went to the Photokina in Cologne, held both the new Nikon D7000 and Pentax 645D while I also bought some gear. So: I have a lot to talk about.
Maybe the best Nikon ever built? Some will surely disagree, but with over 14.000 takes on it, and considering its price, I think yes! Updated: 29-04-09.
