This is pretty big news. Like the kind you get every ten years or so… When the new Nikon NX-D software got out of beta, I was skeptical, to say the least. But the release of Capture NX-D could not be more opportune. Although I have only reviewed Nikon NX-D briefly, the program is awesome, sofar!

Adobe Labs has released the Camera Raw and DNG converter Release Candidate v.6.7, while Nikon in recent weeks has released updates for View NX2, Capture NX2 and Camera Control pro. I thought it could not get any worse after testing Capture NX2 and View NX1.5 a while ago, but I was wrong. NX2 is worse, at least from where I am standing. So much worse that I have not been able to thoroughly test it, not on Windows XP Pro x64 nor on a "standard" XP Pro 32 system. more »
