Adobe Labs has released the Camera Raw and DNG converter Release Candidate v.6.7, while Nikon in recent weeks has released updates for View NX2, Capture NX2 and Camera Control pro. I thought it could not get any worse after testing Capture NX2 and View NX1.5 a while ago, but I was wrong. NX2 is worse, at least from where I am standing. So much worse that I have not been able to thoroughly test it, not on Windows XP Pro x64 nor on a "standard" XP Pro 32 system.
Nikon have launched a new version of their free, basic RAW editing software, View NX version 2. This new version includes various improvements over the previous version, such as straighten, crop and resize. It also includes options for movie editing, like eliminating unwanted footage and cropping.
Nikon have published updated versions of the following programs, now compatible with Apple OS up to v.10.6.2 (Snow Leopard) and 32/64 bits Windows 7, Vista: Capture NX2, Camera Control Pro 2, Transfer, View NX, NIK Color Efex Pro.
